On the occasion of the EU–Western Balkans Summit, Tivat will host a rich cultural program during the first week of June, showcasing the city’s Mediterranean spirit, local traditions and the cultural heritage of the Bay of Kotor to summit delegations and accredited media representatives.
The program begins on June 3 with a fair organized by the European House on Tivat’s Pine waterfront promenade, where, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about IPARD projects, the environmental initiative “Protect, So It Protects You,” Tivat’s “Mladost” Secondary Mixed School and the Tivat Tourist Organization.
From June 2 to June 7, the Tivat Museum and Gallery will be open to visitors from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. In addition, on June 4, two guided city tours will be organized for accredited EU– Western Balkans Summit media representatives. Tours of the Great City Park and the Tivat Museum and Gallery are scheduled at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, accompanied by a musical program and tastings of traditional local products.
The central evening program on Pine will take place on June 4 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring performances by local musical and folklore ensembles. The program includes performances by Klapa Belezza, Klapa Jadran, the City Orchestra, the Boka Cultural and Artistic Society, and the Tivat Music School Orchestra, which will conclude the evening with a concert on the main stage.
The cultural and entertainment program is organized by the Office of the President of Montenegro in cooperation with the Municipality of Tivat, with the aim of presenting the authentic spirit of Tivat and the Bay of Kotor to summit delegations and accredited media representatives through a blend of tradition, culture, music and Mediterranean lifestyle.
Through performances by local artists, folklore ensembles, and musical groups, as well as presentations of traditional gastronomy and customs, participants will have the opportunity to experience the hospitality, rich cultural heritage and distinctive atmosphere of Montenegro’s coast in the unique setting of Tivat’s Pine waterfront.
